Training Runs

We offer group training runs three days a week: Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The size of the group runs varies depending on training schedules.

On Sunday mornings we run LONG! We meet at the Memorial Park stretching deck. We begin at 6:00AM and alternate two routes with a staple distance of 10-12 miles all year round. However, on occasion, during marathon training, or other special events, the distance varies from 10 – 22 miles, with alternative routes, and earlier start times. Changes to the schedule are sent via email to club members.

Tuesday Workouts begin at 6:00 PM sharp. Spotts Park, 401 S. Heights Blvd. The warm up starts around 6:00 pm, for about 20 to 30 minutes.

Thursday workouts begin at 6:00 PM sharp. We meet at the Memorial Park stretching deck. The workouts gravitate towards tempo runs. However, it all depends on what we are training for. We do our best to ensure the group stays together by regrouping during recovery, to begin our reps together.
