Swim - Bike - Run
|
Triathlon season is finally here. Club triathletes are
gearing up and getting ready for the local triathlons. Is Triathlon for you?
The sport of triathlon is definitely something you may want to try. During
the hotter months of the season, running races tend to get shorter (who
wants to go our for a wimpy 5K?) and few races can be found. If you are in
for a challenge, and looking for a fitness event during the hotter months of
the summer and fall, triathlon is for you. Your weekly running mileage
totals comes down due to biking and swimming being incorporated into your
training schedule. You save your knees and give your marathon legs a break
for the summer. You develop new muscles that will help you in the long run
on a marathon. You stay cool by swimming and biking. And you also get to
check out all the guys or girls in their speedos, triathlon shorts, or swim
suits. What more than that can you ask for on the sport of triathlon. What
are you waiting for? Give it a tri! Questions? email me
